Lead Solutions Engineer

As Ridge’s Lead Solutions Engineer, you will integrate Ridge’s cloud platform into our clients’ and partners’ IT environments. You will build the tools, systems, and processes that will make our clients stand up and say, “I love working with Ridge!”

As an integral part of the technology team, you will participate in product and technology reviews. You will also collaborate closely with Ridge system architects and the operations team. As we grow, you will help us to recruit, train, and deploy more solutions engineers.

You will become the face and voice that our clients associate with Ridge – and your work will make a huge contribution to our success.

As Lead Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Becoming the first line of interface and support for our Proof of Concept, beta, and commercial clients.
• Creating systems, tools, and processes for our client requirements discovery process and for onboarding new clients.
• Creating clear and compelling communications and documentation for our clients.
• Communicating client requirements to Ridge’s engineering team.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 10 years overall experience, and 7 of which in Solutions Engineering experience for cloud, CDN, data center, or other IT service providers.
• Experience with onboarding clients to CDNs, Cloud Computing services, our Data Center services.
• In-depth understanding of modern cloud architectures and cloud services

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field experience
• Ability to document and create systems for a newly created solutions engineering department
• Eventual ability to recruit, manage and retain top-tier solutions engineers
